Each strand's leading edge is fitted with a bullet to prevent duct damage during insertion. This method is particularly effective for installing long tendons. Depending on tendon type and profile, our Dynamic Strand Pushing Machine is tailored to handle specific strand sizes.
Widely used by Dynamic Prestress, the machine threads strands of diameters 12.7, 15.2, and 15.7 mm. It efficiently handles any number of strands of tendons and lengths up to 200 meters. Applications span critical infrastructure, including nuclear containment structures, flyovers, bridges, metro viaducts, and aqueducts, ensuring faster construction and reduced labour needs. Internal tendon ducts are installed before concreting, with strands threaded through coils positioned in the decoiler. For internal tendons, HDPE/PP ducts are placed within the rebar cage before concreting. For longer-span tendons, coils of duct are mounted on a dispenser. The Dynamic Duct Pusher Machine or a winch arrangement efficiently pushes the duct into the rebar cage, ensuring precise placement and smooth operation.
